AIR QUALITY KITS

Kids Making Sense® kits include hand-held particle sensor(s), a teacher's guide, a student workbook, access to the Kids Making Sense data-visualization website, a video chat session with an air quality scientist, and support via email and phone. The Small Group Kit and the Classroom Kit also include materials for hands-on science activities; they can be used across different classes and year after year. Materials for these kits now available in English and Spanish!

Weather School Kits

Ignite your students’ passion for science! Kids Making Sense Weather Kits unite STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education and NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) into a supplemental science curriculum. Our eight interactive lessons will familiarize students with climate concepts like radiative heating, relative humidity, and wind direction.

Build A Sensor Kit

With the Build A Sensor Kit and lesson, students can dive deeper into learning about what a particle sensor is and how it works. Participants will learn about the various components that make up a particle sensor, the purpose of each piece, and then get to build a complete sensor themselves!
